Comeback teams oust ‘ineptitude’ – The Wash. Times
I have mentioned several times that Washington is a superstar graveyard when it comes to sports. That may be changing along with the fates of the teams in this town. Previously, of course, DC United had the only championship(s) in the last decade for D.C. sports, unless you count the attendance championships that the Mystics have won.
The Wizards have been in the playoffs two years in a row, the Redskins made it this past season and advanced to the NFC semi-finals, the Capitals had the most exciting and talented rookie in the NHL and of course just having the Nats is a major improvement. Yes, things are looking up.
