Marlin Edges Nats’ Zimmerman For the NL Award
3B Ryan Zimmerman came in second in the closest Rookie of the Year vote since 1980. Had he gotten one more first place vote, he would have won. Zimmerman had a lot to say about the selection which says to me he is dissapointed. The actual winner was Marlins SS Hanley Ramirez.

I guess my Zimmerman poster and dog tag won’t be worth quite as much on ebay as it could have been.

The announcement of his hiring is expected to be made today.
