The Nats are talking to Tony Armas Jr. about a signing another free agent contract. I think they have done this every year since they arrived. Go ahead, sign him. I would rather him get shelled every five days than some prospect with potential. I’ll try to skip attending any games he pitches, because life is too short to spend waiting for Armas to get through five innings.

Also of interest, Ramon Ortiz who ♥’s Washington, 66 year old Steve Trachsel, Jorge Sosa and Jerome Williams.

I am not violently oppossed to Trachsel or Ortiz signing one year deals. I might even be okay with two years of Ortiz, but not Armas. I do not know enough about the other two to make a decision.
