Nationals Sign Kearns to Three-Year Deal – The Post
Penatgon City Harris Teeter shopper Austin Kearns has signed a three year contract extension with the Nationals. AP/WRC says he will be paid $17.5 million to play in the outfield and make plate appearances. That’ll buy a lot of groceries, even at Harris Teeter.
The club has a $10 million option for the 2010 season with a $1 million buyout.
