I have just pushed live the twelfth version of my Web site. The changes are not as radical as the upgrade from v.X to v.XI, but there two major differences.

  • Navigation — the left side is only my content and the right side (with the exception of my photograph) is links to other sites.
  • Labels/Topics — I have started using BloggerTM labels on my posts. I have actually labeled most of the posts from 2005 on. Generally speaking, I did not label 2004 posts because I put multiple topics in single posts. As it turns out, I probably should have skipped adding almost everything that did not happen very recently because BloggerTM offers a much less robust version for those of us who host our own blogs, rather than blog*spot. I will have more to say about that soon.

This two changes are likely the first of several upgrades coming soon. I will announce each new feature.

The last time I upgraded this site, I called it the “Danny White version.” This time around, I think I’ll call it the Joe Willie Namath version. It was tempting to go with someone like Mike Robinson, Roger Staubach or even Babe Laufenberg, but in the end naming it after Joe Willie gives me an excuse to post this inspirational video:

Also, the Babe wore several numbers, so I can use him later.
