I don’t know if inking Pedro Astachio (as reported by Barry Svrluga on Nationals Journal) quaiflies as something stupid, but it is a typical, Bowden move. The risk to the team is not much since Astachio signed a minor league deal. If I were Jerome Williams I would not be thrilled with this news.
