Nats take 1 of 3 in Florida

YESTERDAY: FLORIDA 12 Washington 6 (ESPN Boxscore)

It was a pretty rough weekend for the Nationals. Yesterday, Jerome Williams got knocked around to drop to 0-4 on the season. CF Ryan Church, who has been playing quite well, got benched for not running out a grounder. On the bright side Ryan Zimmerman hit his first home run, a grand slam even, in the ninth.

The lone win of the weekend came in 14 innings. Shawn Hill was pitching very well, but strained his non-throwing shoulder when he got caught in a rundown. He thinks he will be okay for his next start (The Post) though. Chad Cordero blew another save.
