Football players’ trials delayed – CDT
It is looking more and more like the case against Anthony Scirrotto and Chris Baker for the April 1 rumble is getting weaker, in part because the prosecution subpeonaed the Judical Affairs transcripts. Defense attorneys note that there are contradictions in testimony between those and the original statements to the police. Scirrotto and Baker probably feel a lot better about their situation. That being said, I still think Scirrotto and others were incredibly stupid and I won’t be opposed to either of them being kicked off the team if they are convicted.
