Peña, Hill Lift Nationals Further Out of the Cellar – The Post

Shawn Hill finally got a win last night, his first since coming off the DL. He only gave up one earned run over six innings. Jesus Colome had trouble out of the bullpen though and gave up two runs to make the game close. A 40 minute rain delay also interuptted the proceedings.

LF Wily Mo Peña hit two home runs and had three RBI.

Only a little more than 1,000 fans were at the game. The Nats won their first season series over the Marlins with last night’s victory.

Montgomery County native Justin Maxwell is finding his way in the clubhouse (The Post). He hit 27 homers in A ball this year.

Although he is uncertain about his role with the team, Ryan Church has a good attitude right (The Wash. Times) now. His playing time has dropped with acquisition of Peña.
