Five Nittany Lions named All-Big Ten – CDT

Senior linebacker Dan Connor, junior cornerback Justin King, sophomore punter Jeremy Boone, sophomore defensive end Maurice Evans and junior center A.Q. Shipley were named to the first team.

Connor, Boone and Shipley seem fine on the first team, but what is King doing there? He was a liability out there. Evans should probably be on the second team since he didn’t do enough in big games. He’s only a sophomore though, so he should only get better and become a big game player too.

2nd team: LB Sean Lee and G Rich Ohrnberger

Honorable mention: T Gerald Cadogan, DE Josh Gaines, RB Rodney Kinlaw and S Anthony Scirrotto

Connor and Kinlaw are the only seniors honored — everybody else is likely coming back.
