What kind of Mickey Mouse operation you got running here Stan? – The Wash. Times
Somehow I missed this Nationals story this morning.
The team has hired a subsidiary of the Walt Disney Company to help train staff members on improving customer service and the experience for fans on gamedays.
Members of the Disney Institute held a daylong seminar for more than 30 members of the team’s executive staff yesterday and will hold another today for all other customer service employees.
That is great and all, but the customer service that matters most to me are the concession lines. I want to be able to get in one line that allows me to buy a hot dog or half smoke and a Sprite or beer and get out of it quickly. I don’t want to see three people standing around talking instead of working. I want the people to work quickly and accurately as a team. A smile and a positive attitude is nice too, but efficiency is the most important thing.
