Ovechkin does it again! Caps beat Boston 10-2

Alex Ovechkin had a bit of a “slump” in February, going seven games without a goal. He has gotten March off to a roaring start, scoring a natural hat trick in the first period of Washington’s 10-2 win over the Bruins. He also added two assists for a five point night. Nicklas Backstrom scored a goal as part of his four point night. Brooks Laich and Matt Bradley both scored two goals. Donald Brashear took time off from fighting to score another goal, his second in 2 games.

So much for the B’s six game winning streak or goalie Tim Thomas’ dominance over D.C.

Oh and thanks for not going to the game Caps Nut! It reminds me a lot of the last time you didn’t go.
