The individual trophies will come, but I’m more interested in seeing banners hanging from the Verizon Center rafters. The first one, the Southeast Division Championship, was secured last night, but I want more. The Capitals want more too.

Not many of the Caps have been in the playoffs, but the second half of the season, the last two weeks in particular, should negate that inexperience. Overtaking Carolina wasn’t easy; they really kept the foot on the pedal until the last two weeks when they lost to Washington twice.
