Let’s see — closer Chad Cordero has tendinitis and won’t pitch for a few days. The DL is a possibility for him. Elijah Dukes is on the DL with a hamstring injury and it is uncertain when he will return. Wily Mo Pena is already out so left field is being played by Willie Harris.

A Swing and Another HitThe Post
The best byline is the paper, J. Freedom du Lac, examines the Nationals Park music and gets the quote that says it all: “Wedding-type music is probably the best way to describe it. It’s music for everyone.”

Indeed. Also, we apparently can blame BAAAltimore for mainstreaming too much music at ballparks. At least the music was not overwhelming the other night. They didn’t play Bustin’ Loose after Zimmerman’s homer though. They also played Sweet Caroline which isn’t going away. No “Heart” either.

The Nats have the day off today, which is fine because there is a HUGE Capitals game tonight against the Hurricanes. If you are not going, the game is televised at 7 p.m. on ComcastSportsNet.
