Good Sheppard – The Sun
P.A. announcer Bob Sheppard is still not well enough to resume his duties at Yankee Stadium for tonight’s All-Star game. He has been the p.a. announcer since Joe DiMaggio was playing center and Mickey Mantle was playing right in 1951. I am hopeful he can resume his duties in time for my trip to the Stadium.
