THOMAS BOSWELL – With Losses, Nats Could Stand to Gain Strasburg – The Post
Bos is pretty excited about Stephen Strasburg, the expected #1 pick of the next draft.

Oh, and scouts have timed his fastball as high as 101. That’s miles per hour. But his best pitch is his curveball.

Bos then goes on to try and manage his own expectations, but has trouble. I find it hard to get behind the “choose to lose” mentality, but Strasburg sure does look tempting. Of course, with the Aaron Crow debacle that I have tried to ignore, the Nats drafting him is no sure thing he would ever wear the curly W cap.

Not much else to say about the Nats other than it is always enjoyable watching them at Wrigley Field, especially on Friday when they came back from a 4-0 deficit and won 13-5. I really need to get there someday.
