Syracuse could be Nats’ affiliate in ’09 – nationals.com
As first reported by Nationals Farm Authority, the Nationals could make Syracuse their AAA affiliate. New Orleans, AAA home for 2005-2006, is also in the mix. Syracuse is closer than New Orleans and about four or five hours by car from AA-Harrisburg along I-81.
Syracuse had an early NBA team called the Nationals that moved to Philadelphia and became the 76ers.
