Penn State at Iowa prediction

Penn State heads to Iowa tomorrow after a week off having played two out of the last three games, Wisconsin and Ohio State respectively, on the road in prime time. That middle game was Michigan for homecoming. The rest seemingly came at the perfect time.

Now, ranked as high as #2 depending on what poll you are looking at, the Nittany Lions have three more games to play in the regular season. Iowa is 5-4, but every one of those losses were by a combined 12 points. They can do some damage with a decent run defense and a strong running back named Shonn Greene.

Since 1995, when I started at Penn State, 9-0 has been a stumbling block for the Nittany Lions both times they have reached that record. I don’t think it will be this time though since Penn State seems to have strong leadership and focus this year. I expect them to have their troubles in Iowa City, but they should return at 10-0. Penn State wins, 28-17.

Blue White Roundtable will appear during the lunch hour. Beano Watch will appear on Saturday morning.
