While I am not sure that Jones’ idea of making Larry Johnson Sr. defensive coordinator and Tom Bradley associate head coach is the way to go, retaining Johnson is a must for Penn state. He is a master recruiter and an accomplished defensive line coach. Losing him to another Big11Ten school, Illinois, would likely be devastating.
