Milledge, Dukes a Potent Pair – The Post
When Manny Acta thinks of Lastings Milledge and Elijah Dukes he might say to himself, “their potential is going to cost me my job.” The two outfielders acquired last year are thought to have tremendous potential but the are questions about whether they can reach it. Milledge, seems like a clock-puncher — he is not doing anything beyond what is required. Dukes, has well-publicized legal problems, but stayed out of trouble last year. Of the two, Dukes has the higher upside as well as the higher risk. He was the most exciting Washington player at the plate last year.
