Examining the Strasburg Situation – The Wash. Times
The Stephen Strasburg watch, slated to last until August 17, is not something that excites me terribly. I expect it to be long, drawn out and completely un-newsworthy until about August 15 or so. I don’t feel like blogging about it too much. The above link may be the last mention I’ll make about him for sometime, though I suppose links to articles both in blog posts and in my Google Reader Recommended Reading box will likely continue.
I expect that the Nationals sign him and agent Scott Boras to do pretty well for himself. As for Strasburg’s future with the Nats, I’m hoping he’s more Alex Ovechkin than Kwame Brown.
