So Far, No Action on Acta – The Post
Acta looks safe through Thursday – The Wash. Times
Did Ken Rosenthal save Manny Acta‘s job, for a few days at least? Maybe, but does Acta even still want it? I can’t help but think he checked out in April after the atrocious start. As fault goes, Acta is no where near the top of the list, his front office occupies that by itself. However, whether Acta stays or goes is largely irrelevant as the team is what it is — a Jim Bowden built nightmare. I don’t see Jim Riggleman changing the results much, do you?
Nationals could replace Acta with Valentine; pitching market thinning – Sports Illustrated
Admit it, you are somewhat intrigued by the thought of Bobby Valentine in a curly W cap. He’s easy to spot too, just for the guy wearing the “I’m a bug deal in Japan t-shirt.”
