Glass bottles are now banned in the grass parking areas for Penn State football games. Yes, this will go over well. I am not disagreeing with their rationale, but there is no way they will get rid of glass bottles at tailgates. Who created this rule, Alcoa?
A lot of people are going to be upset by this new rule. I doubt it will be enforced against people behaving themselves and cleaning up. I fully expect glass bottle recycling to still be offered, hooray for mixed messages!
Less people will be upset by the smoking ban inside the fence at Beaver Stadium. Those who are need to get over it. That is a Commonwealth decision anyway.
