Big shakeup for ketchup – NY Post
A new Heinz recipe? I’m not sure about this since Heinz ketchup is just about perfect as is though I’m told the “organic” (sweetened with sugar, not corn syrup) is even better. I’m almost afraid to try that because if it is appreciably better, it will ruin regular Heinz ketchup for me which would be a problem when dining out.
I’m guessing 5% less salt would not be a big deal, but 15% less sodium is statistically significant, so the flavor will probably be different. Maybe I need to stock up on the “real” stuff before the change.
