ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The first snow storm of the 2010-2011 season dropped 2 1/8 inches of beautiful white power onto an already frozen ground in the West End. The early rush hour yesterday was not too bad, but getting out of Tysons Corner was a bit of a chore.

Every year, I celebrate the first snow fall be grilling something. I don’t remember why I started it, but it is a fun little tradition.
