The Penn State Nittany Lions will play the Florida Gators in the 2011 Outback Bowl. They last played each other in the 1998 Outback Bowl after a season where both teams were ranked #1 for a time. This season, both teams were not ranked #1 or even close to it.

Should be an interesting matchup, Florida really underachieved in the post-Tim Tebow era and Penn State was pretty bad this year.
