Redskins vs. Buccaneers prediction

Truth of the matter, I found making fun of the Minnesota Vikings and defending the honor of Snomaggedon much more fun than coming up with prediction for today’s Washington Redskins vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game.

In the first half of the season, the Redskins played to the level of their competition most of the time. That left them precisely mediocre, but after really bad losses to the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants, they are revealed to be a subpar team at this point of the season. Are the visiting Bucs what they need to get better? It is hard to say — the Bucs are a surprising 7-5 with their wins coming off of the weaker teams on their schedule. At this point, you can’t really make the argument that the Redskins are not the next in that line. However, with the Albert Haynesworth distraction gone and nasty “Redskins weather” as Joe Gibbs would say, the burgundy and gold might find a way to win over their tropical opponents. If they had any semblance of a running game, I’d say its a no-brainer. However, I think the Bucs are hungrier than the Redskins and will ultimately prevail in a muddy mess of a game.
