Accuweather: 2 to 4 inches of snow on the way to Centre County – CDT
Snow football aficionados like myself are thrilled that big snowstorm that is hitting much of the Northeast should hit State College for tomorrow’s Penn State vs. Illinois game.
The temperature on Saturday is expected to be around 32 degrees in the morning and increase to 36 or 37 degrees in the afternoon.
Travis said the slush and snow will likely be sticking around for the start of the 3:30 p.m. Illinois-Penn State football game at Beaver Stadium.
I’ll admit, playing snow football is more fun than watching it in the stands (snowballs/iceballs get old), but it makes for great TV viewing. In a more perfect world, the Illini would wear their orange jerseys tomorrow — that would look great on a white field with Penn State wearing blue.
