“Make your plans to be here, tomorrow, next week, next month and next year, because the show has just begun.”
– Charlie Slowes, Voice of the Washington Nationals

Bryce Harper drove in the winning run on his fourth double of the season. Four of his six hits have been doubles. He’s just a joy to watch and I can’t wait to follow Slowes advice. Manager Davey Johnson moved him to third in the order and it paid off.
Ross Detwiler earned the win, allowing only one run over 6 1/3 innings. He still gets upset when he gets pinched on the corners by the umpires, but he’s been excellent this season.
The Nats have won seven of eight series (corrected – thanks @natsrgreat), their lone series loss coming on the West Coast. They are 16-9.
Final score: WASHINGTON NATIONALS 2 Arizona Diamondbacks 1
