Instead of showing the pride in the best team in baseball, the Washington Nationals, some have taken it to mean “West Coast.” Compounding it is the ruffian mentioned above — he stole a car and fired a gun out the window and shared this all on social media.

A note to all criminals out there: Before going out and committing your crime, please take more care in your choice of headgear. Think of all the Nats fans who are finally getting to have a good season — we’ve suffered enough without being associated with gun-wielding car thieves. Please, choose a more appropriate hat.
