5 Lanes Of Traffic Open On Capital Beltway At Telegraph Road In Alexandria, Va. – WUSA TV 9
After a new ramp from DC 295 south to 11th Street Bridge (I-695 west) opened, the good news keeps coming for BeltwayLand commuters. The THRU/LOCAL configuration on the Capital Beltway is now complete on the outer loop (I-95 north/I-495 east). Five lanes (2 THRU/3 LOCAL) are now available for drivers headed into Maryland via the Woodrow Wilson Bridge.

I haven’t driven this new stretch of road yet, but I’m sure it will be an improvement.
