ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Did you mock school systems for calling two-hour delays and closings last night? I know I did. Yet…

Measurements from the front yard showed over 3¾ inches of snow! Wow.

While Alexandria City Public Schools opened on-time, the wisdom of delays is harder to debate.Just before 8, the snow was falling hard enough that cleared off parts of a car was white again within minutes.

It may to be turning to sleet now.
