Volunteers Needed for Cleanup Via Kayak Along Four Mile Run – Alexandria Now
There is too much litter in Washington, D.C. waterways. Every time I go kayaking, I wind up fishing out some trash.
The Four Mile Run Conservatory Foundation is hosting several clean-up events soon.

Help us keep our waterways clean, while enjoying quality outdoor time and fresh air on the water!
For participants’ safety, we are taking precautions to limit potential COVID-19 exposure, including restricting the number of participants to fewer than ten, requiring six-foot social distancing and the use of face masks on shore and while launching/landing, and sanitizing equipment between events.
