Greetings from Nationals Park, Washington, D.C. where the Washington Nationals are trailing the Florida Marlins 2-0 in the bottom of the 6th inning. I’ll have more about Blogger Day later, but now that I am back from a family trip to Walt Disney World (which I have will much more about later too), I need to talk some football.
The Nittany Lions are in Tuscaloosa, Al. to play the Alabama Crimson Tide for the first time in what, 20 years? #18 vs. #1 and I think #1 is going to win. I’d feel better about Penn State’s chances if Mark Ingram weren’t hurt since Penn State since reigning Heisman Trophy winners Marcus Allen, Herschel Walker, Vinny Testaverde) tend to fare poorly against the Nittany Lions. Well, Ingram is hurt the last I saw, so so much for that theory.
Anyway, a true freshman quarterback (Rob Bolden) and not much of an offensive line has me thinking the upset is a LOCK not to happen. So, I’m predicting Alabama 24 Penn State 13. I hope to be wrong.
