I finally broke down and bought a Capitals throwback on ebay, a Mitchell & Ness 1977-78 replica. At size 48, it is way too big for me, but good luck finding something on ebay that is any smaller. At least the sleeves are a good length.

I always loved the sleeves with the stars and hope the new sweater uniform system has a similar design. I don’t want either of the existing or old logos though. If it were up to me I’d take this jersey and put a capitol dome logo on it.

I think I might have to do a “jersey of the month” post from now on.
