David Jones of the Patriot-News reports on his blog that things are looking up for Pennsylvania cable subscribers who want to see Big11Ten Network. A deal is close for that will allow many Comcast subscribers will get it on expanded basic tier, except for the Philadelphia area which will have to pay extra.

This doesn’t help me, but I know Penn Staters in the Keystone State will be pleased.
