Senate Bock beer release party at Heurich House, moved to March 12

Senate Bock beer release party at Heurich House, March 5, 2025

Updated 3/3/2025: The latest Lost Lagers recreation, Senate Bock, will be released on March 12, 2025 at Heurich House in Northwest Washington. This is a change of date:

Unfortunately due to the forecasted weather for this Wednesday, we will be postponing the event until Wednesday, March 12th from 5-7pm.

Event details:

This historic Senate Bock recipe comes from a 1948 “Report of Analysis” from The Wallerstein Laboratories found at the National Archives. The report provides Bock’s color, strength, and technical details that are of great importance to brewers and quality assurance managers.

The event is free, though you need to RSVP. Free tastings as well as cans of Senate Bock for sale are available. As of 3/3/2025, the event may be “sold” out.

Lost Lagers recently hosted an aged Senate Märzen event at Right Proper Brewing Co. Like the märzen, Senate Bock was brewed by Right Proper.

Getting there

Heurich House is accessible from Dupont Circle Metro (use the south exit) and the D6 bus. Bike racks and Capital Bikeshare are nearby. Parking is in the neighborhood or garages.
