Penn State linebacker Lee serving his ‘internship’ – The Morning Call
Some athletes often say that they “have a blue collar work ethic” to describe the way they play. Check out the way that Penn State LB Sean Lee describes his rehabiliation from knee surgery:
Known for his on-field intensity, Lee has pulled back his throttle in favor of consistency in his rehabilitation. Another factor is concern over burnout.
”You have to be business-like and work as smart as possible,” he said. ”If you push yourself too hard and burn out, then you get negative. I see this as a work day. Some kids are doing internships; this is my internship.”
I don’t know about you, but this cube monkey finds this attitude refreshing.
