P-Nats title has Lerner smiling – The Free Lance-Star
Good news, The Plan is working1!!!1! The Single-A Potomac Nationals won the Mills Cup as Carolina League champions, defeating Myrtle Beach. It is the first championship for a Nationals affiliate and the first for the P-Nats franchise since they were the Prince William Yankees in 1989. They also won a title as the Alexandria Dukes (remember them?) in 1982.

Congratulations to owner/firstbase coach Art Silber, the P-Nats and the Nationals minor league development. Keep it going!
