Fenty wants to divert ballpark tax to general fund – WTOP
Ah, D.C. fiscal responsibility is a special, special thing. Mayor Adrian Fenty, a ballpark opponent as a council member, wants to take the money from the Ballpark Revenue Fund to the general fund, rather than have it pay down ballpark construction debt. 28 years from now, if Nationals Park has not been paid off, we’ll know why.

It is times like this that it amazes me Nationals Park ever got built.
