The Nittany Lions are ranked #8 in the preseason poll, two spots behind Ohio State. Florida comes in a #1, followed Texas, Oklahoma, USC and Alabama. Virginia Tech is #7.

Other Big Ten schools in the Top 25 — well just one, Iowa, Penn State’s first conference opponent.
