The Eyes Have It – Fight on State
So, that’s why Joe Paterno is auctioning off his glasses (Penn State Live)!

Paterno, 83, recently had surgery at Philadelphia’s Penn Scheie Eye Institute and no longer needs glasses. However, ever the hipster, Paterno will continue to wear glasses even though he doesn’t need them because he feels strange without them. The new glasses will have thinner lenses though.

So, I can’t help but wonder what the ramifications of Paterno actually being able to see again will have for the Nittany Lions.
