Wow, a 14-7 loss. It was tied at 7 after 2½ but the Washington Nationals stopped scoring and the Philadelphia Phillies did not. Some other observations:

P Jason Marquis pinch hit in the fifth inning.

Phillies reliever Nelson Figueroa had two hits in the second inning.

CF Nyjer Morgan got picked off of first

I had the game on mute, so I didn’t hear Rob Dibble — the only win of the night apparently. Bring back Tom Paichorek!

LF Josh Willingham got a RBI on a 3-0 greenlight, no?

I’m down to 1-4 in the Cheesesteak/Half-Smoke Challenge.

Final game against the Phillies for a while today at 3:05 p.m. I’ll be listening.
