If the injury proves to be serious, it could strongly jeopardize the Lions successfully integrating a wide-open, spread offense (Tribune-Review) this fall, since they are thin (best WR on the team is playing QB) and raw (Derrick Williams and Justin King are athletic enough, but have no experience) at wideout.
