Williams shines in intrasquad scrimmage – CDT
The Williams in the headline is the latest projected savior, Derrick Williams. He returned punts and played with the first team. Also of note, Tim Shaw saw a little time at H-Back, Michael Robinson only played QB, and Anthony Morelli got picked off.
We also learn in the notes at the bottom of this Patriot-News article that Joe Paterno may try to convince Austin Scott to take a redshirt. He is out this spring with an ankle injury. With Tony Hunt and Rodney Kinlaw emerging, this makes a lot of sense methinks, we will see if it happens.
The coaches clinic happens at the midpoint of spring practice every year.
