Patterson Receives Nothing For Work – The Post
The days of John Patterson getting up run support have returned. He allowed one run in the seventh, which was enough to lose the game. Jae Seo pitched eight innings for the Mets.

NATIONALS NOTEBOOK – Guillen Still Friendly With Mets’ Martinez – The Post
The last time the Nats faced the Pedro Martinez, tonight’s starter, Jose Guillen got hit. Guillen then got upset with Esteban Loaiza for not retaliating in the next inning. Guillen wants everyone to know that he is getting along with Pedro, but no word on if he is getting along with his teammates. Also, Ryan Drese is skipping a start (more from The Wash. Times) and Brad Wilkerson has a bad hammy, but expects to play.
