What an awful and bewildering game! Since when do you pull a starting pitcher after 2/3’s of an inning when he has only given up one run?! Bizzare.
One of the friends I was sitting with figured Frank Robinson was doing this to send a message to the front office for not letting them call up more players. I would like to believe that but do not think I can.
Up until last night, I had never left a sporting event that I had paid for early and that includes football games in sub-zero weather. Seeing the final score only shows that it was the appropriate thing to do.
