Nats Quietly Take a Step Back – The Post
The Nats missed their best chance to get another win in this series. Rookie Darrell Rasner only lasted 2 2/3 innings. Ismael Valdez and two relievers combined to hold the Nats to 5 hits.
Only 24,936 made it out to RFK last night, which is not good for a team in the playoff race. I plan on doing my part tonight and heading out to my first game in way too long.

Brooks, Orioles relate no more – The Wash. Times
You can add Brooks Robinson to the list of beloved Orioles that are no longer active with the organization in the Angelo$ era. Also, Robinson wants to come to RFK and see the Nats play. He dreams that a Charles County, Md. minor league team (currently independent) he is involved with could someday be a Nats affiliate. You may recall Robinson was co-Baltimorean of the Year for 2004.
