Penn State is undefeated and ranked #3 in both major polls. Have they been tested yet?
I really don’t think they have been tested, maybe quizzed. Wisconsin was reeling and nobody else on the schedule was very good. The test presented to Penn State this Saturday is more about themselves than Michigan I think. I expect a much better showing by the Wolverines than last week than the egg they laid against Toledo last week.
What unit or player is most responsible for the Nittany Lions this season?
I have to go with the offensive line. Teams with strong offensive lines make average quarterbacks good and good quarterbacks great. They have been opening holes for Evan Royster and keeping Daryll Clark’s uniform clean. Honorable mention to the defensive line.
How can Michigan beat Penn State on Saturday?
The best way for Michigan to beat Penn State is to get in the Nittany Lions heads and make Penn State beat Penn State. This has happened before with heartbreaking results for those in blue and white. Getting turnovers and turning them in them into points is specifically the way Michigan can win. On paper this game is not even close, but that has not mattered in the past.

Where were you the last time Penn State beat Michigan?
For some reason, I think I may have been in K-1 of the Kostos Building at the Old School. Memories are fuzzy because it was 1996 my sophomore year. I may have been at my parents too, but that would have been odd given the time of year. I do remember David Macklin’s two blocked punts though.
