JOHN FEINSTEIN – Capitals Should Revel in Every Banner Night – The Post
Feinstein thinks the Capitals should have done more than unfurl their 2008-2009 Southeast Division title banner. I disagree, unfurling it instead of raising it is the right message to the players and fans — division titles are nice, but there are two bigger goals than a division title, the conference and Stanley Cup.
By the way, On Frozen Blog noted that the Caps changed their banners, something I mentioned to UniWatch. No more pictures of the players faces on their retired number banners.
